Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has donated 100 Operational Vehicles to the Rivers State Police Command.
The governor handed over the vehicles to the state commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu at the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
According to him, the gesture was a show of appreciation by the Government to boost crime fighting in the state.
He urged the Command not to be partisan in the discharge of their duties.
On his part, the state Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu applauded Governor Fubara for his kind gesture, and assured the governor of effective policing.
