GOV FUBARA ATTENDS FIRST PDP NEC MEETING

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, was among top leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who attended the 98th session of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party at its Wadata Plaza National Secretariat in Abuja.

The NEC meeting, which is the first showing of the Vice Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum at the second highest decision-making organ of the party, held on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

At the NEC meeting presided over by the Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum; were the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; Board of Trustees (BoTs) Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wagbara; former Vice President and PDP Presidential candidate in the 2023 polls, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; former Vice President, Engr Namadi Sambo; Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed; PDP Vice Presidential candidate in the 2023 polls, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa; and PDP Caucus members at the National Assembly.

Others are members of PDP Governors’ Forum; National Working Committee (NWC); Board of Trustees (BoTs); State party chairmen and secretaries; among others.
