The Chairman of Gokana Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Monday Dumiye, has revealed plans to establish a Premium Trust Bank branch in the region, aiming to improve access to financial services for residents and businesses.
Speaking during an inspection of ongoing projects yesterday, Hon. Dumiye emphasized his administration’s commitment to enhancing financial inclusion and fostering economic growth in Gokana. He described the initiative as part of a broader strategy to drive public-private partnerships and boost the socio-economic development of the area.
The chairman added that consultations and planning are underway to ensure smooth execution, with the branch set to be located in Kpor and expected to begin operations in the coming months.
