Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Hon. Obinna Anyanwu has advised residents of the area to take advantage of the ongoing Permanent Voters Card registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, to get their PVCs, in order to participate in next year’s general elections.
Hon. Anyanwu made this known when he received candidates of the People’s Democratic Party for Etche constituency 1 and 2 Hon. Ignatius Onwuka and Hon. Chimezie Nwankwo, over the weekend.
According to him, next year’s election will not be business as usual, adding that the people have the power to decide who governs them.
He called on people of the LGA to vote for candidates of the party in the 2023 elections.
“In the early hours of today, I received candidates of the People’s Democratic Party for Etche constituency 1 and 2 Hon. Ignatius Onwuka and Hon. Chimezie Nwankwo.
“The visit is inline with the two candidates ongoing consultations ahead of 2023 general elections,” he said.
