A petrol and gas station has been engulfed by an explosion on Edibe Edibe Street in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, resulting in serious injuries to several residents and extensive property damage.
The incident, which happened on Saturday, completely destroyed the facility known as Fonex Gas Station.
The resulting fire swept through key areas of the station, including its fuel and gas storage units, and also destroyed vehicles parked on the premises.
