National Leader of the Conscience of Ogoni People, Chief Gani Topba and four other persons have been reportedly shot by unknown gunmen.
Sources say they were attacked at Bori in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Sunday while travelling to Port Harcourt.
The victims are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt.
However, stakeholders have condemned the incident which has caused tension in Ogoni land.
