Lawyer to alleged fraudster and Instagram Big Boy, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas popularly known as Ray Hushpuppi, Gal Pissetzky has accused the FBI of kidnapping his client from Dubai to US.
Gal who made this known in an exclusive interview on BBC, Today said “In my opinion, the FBI and the government here acted illegally when they kidnapped him from Dubai without any legal process to do so.”
The highly respected legal luminary who had earlier declared that Hushpuppi is not guilty of the charges levelled against him, noted that the US had absolutely no authority to take him because he is not a citizen of the United States.
“There was no extradition, there were no legal steps taken, there were no court documents filed, it was simply a call to the FBI,” he declared.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the US Department of Justice has said that Hushpuppi was expelled from Dubai and was not extradited, according to the BBC.
