Stakeholders in Rivers State have called on the state government to with immediate effect take urgent measures to avert the looming fuel scarcity in the state.
This is due to online reports that petroleum Tanker drivers have refused to load products and that no external truck is been allowed into the state.
According to the report, the drivers alleged that thugs sponsored by a highly placed individual invaded the Port Harcourt Refinery, looting and destroying their properties at the weekend.
The drivers, threatened scarcity of petroleum products in the state, until relevant authorities intervene in the matter.
The report also stated that fuel stations have refused to dispense Petroleum Motor Spirit, this morning.
