Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has sworn in Mr Austin Ezekiel Hart as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.
The brief ceremony took place at the Executive Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt.
Governor Fubara, while congratulating the new appointee, urged him to uphold professionalism and ensure due process in the discharge of his duties.
Several members of the State Executive Council witnessed the event. They include Dr. Adaeze Oreh, Commissioner for Health; Hon. Joe Johnson, Commissioner for Information and Communication; Hon. Chisom Kenneth Gbali, Commissioner for Youth Development; Engr. Victor Kii, Commissioner for Agriculture; Elder Charles Amadi, Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs; Hon. Christopher Green, Commissioner for Sports; Hon. Uchenwafor Maximus, Commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources; and Dr. Mrs. Roseline Apawari Uranta, Commissioner for Women Affairs.
