Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reiterated that his relationship with his principal remains cordial, stressing that they are united in working for the progress of the state.
Speaking to journalists after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Fubara said his visit was to formally inform the President of the lifting of his suspension and his resumption of official duties on September 19.
The governor assured that the peace achieved among political leaders in Rivers is authentic, noting that reconciliation efforts have yielded positive results.
He added that President Tinubu gave him valuable advice on leadership and governance, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to stability, unity, and service delivery to the people of the state.
