Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has pledged his administration’s commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directives, particularly on the resumption of oil operations in Ogoniland.
Fubara expressed gratitude to the President for his support, describing the meeting as a testament to their respect and allegiance to the administration’s goals.
He said the meeting solidifies the respect and love they have for the President, stressing that they are committed to continuing consultations and achieving the goals set by his administration.
On his part, King Festus Babari Bagia Gberesaako XIII, the Gberemene of Gokana Kingdom, reaffirmed the community’s support for resolving longstanding issues in Ogoniland, including environmental and economic challenges.
