Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that Governor-elect, Sim Fubara never lobbied to be Governor of the state.
Wike, during a public lecture and book launch Today in Port Harcourt, said while people were busy lobbying to be governor, Fubara was minding his bisiness.
He described Fubara as an upright man, adding that he is optimistic that he will take the state to greater heights.
He also said some of those who lobbbied for the position would have sold the state if they were give the opportunity.
Wike urged Rivers people to support Sim and not compare his administration with the incoming administration as no two persons are the same.
