A Video of a member of the Action People’s Party in Rivers State claiming that Gov. Sim Fubara carefully selected the party’s candidates for the Oct. 5th elections is currently trending online
The party faithful made the claim when he mounted the podium at the party’s campaign at CEA Polytechnic, Port Harcourt on Thursday.
He was reportedly cut short after the blunder, as the next speaker denied the claims.
Recall that there have been speculations that Gov. Fubara is sponsoring the party, and did pick candidates for the election. However, these claims have been denied by the party’s leadership.
The Rivers State local government election which is set to hold on the 5th of October has seen a massive support base of the governor decamped to the APP to contest for elective positions.
