Governor Sim Fubara has donated a new bus to the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, as part of his administration’s efforts to enhance the welfare of medical personnel in the state.
The Governor also approved free enrolment of all health workers in the Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme, providing them with health insurance coverage.
During a meeting with the ARD leadership, Fubara reaffirmed his government’s resolve to give top priority to the well-being of healthcare providers while improving the overall healthcare system in Rivers State.
He expressed appreciation for the service and dedication of medical workers and promised continued support to enable them perform optimally.
