Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Wike, on his conferment of an honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree by the University of Port Harcourt.
In a message issued on behalf of his family and the people of Rivers State, Governor Fubara described the award as a well-deserved honour in recognition of Wike’s accomplishments in governance and national development.
He praised the former Rivers State governor for his transformational leadership, commitment to infrastructural development, and service to the nation, both as governor and now as FCT Minister. Fubara noted that Wike’s recognition by his alma mater was a testament to his enduring impact in public service and a source of pride for Rivers State.
Governor Fubara also hoped that the recognition would inspire further achievements in Wike’s public service career.
