Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has assured the people of the state that despite opposition against his administration, governance remains on course and victory is inevitable.
Speaking during the inauguration of the newly reconstructed Government House Staff Quarters on Forces Avenue, Port Harcourt, on Monday, Governor Fubara acknowledged concerns over the Supreme Court’s recent judgment but urged residents to remain steadfast.
He emphasized that his leadership is guided by integrity and a commitment to the state’s progress, vowing not to be intimidated by political adversaries. He also warned against attempts to instigate violence in Rivers, stating that while he does not endorse lawlessness, his administration will not tolerate threats to peace.
The governor reiterated his dedication to good governance, pointing to the completion of the staff quarters as proof of his administration’s commitment to improving workers’ welfare. The project includes residential buildings, hostels, recreational facilities, and essential infrastructure for government staff.
Governor Fubara expressed gratitude to state elders for their support and assured them of his unwavering commitment to Rivers State’s development.
