Governor Siminalayi Fubara has assured residents that the long-awaited Abua–Emohua Road will be completed by May this year.
The governor gave the assurance after inspecting the ongoing project, expressing satisfaction with the level of work done so far, particularly the completed 240-metre Agba-Ndele Bridge linking the Abua and Emohua sections of the road.
According to him, the project will significantly enhance transportation and boost economic activities in the area when completed.
The Abua–Emohua Road connects several communities, including Ndele, Omofo, Egamini, and Agba-Ndele, improving movement of people and goods across Emohua Local Government Area and Abua/Odual Local Government Area.
The road project had been abandoned for several years, but is now nearing completion under the current administration.
