Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has approved the appointment of new teachers as part of his administration’s efforts to close the manpower gap in public schools across the state.
In line with this directive, the governor has also ordered the revalidation of the 1,000 teachers recruited in 2023.
According to an official statement signed by the Chairman of the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), Hon. Sam Ogeh, all affected teachers are to report for the revalidation exercise on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, by 10:00 AM, at the RSUBEB State Office, Elechi Beach.
Teachers recruited in 2023 are expected to come with their appointment and posting letters to complete the process.
