Suspended Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara was absent as PDP governors converged in Ibadan, Oyo State, for a two-day meeting that started on Sunday.
The essence of the meeting was to brainstorm on the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State and the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, among other issues affecting the party.
The National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Debo Ologunagba, confirmed the development in a statement.
The governors also deliberated on their suit against the Federal Government at the Supreme Court, which is challenging the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
