The Rivers State Chapter of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) has thanked the Rivers State Government for its readiness to work with the command and for providing the necessary logistics needed for its operations in the state.
The new commander of the state safety command, Corp Marshal Bomal Galadinchi made this known, yesterday in a courtesy visit to the Secretary of the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo.
Dr. Tammy Danagogo during the meeting confirmed that the state government has been supporting the command as it recently provided accommodation for the command as well as vehicles and logistics. This is to enable the command begin issuance of plate numbers to vehicle owners in the state, he asserted.
The SSG equally advised the new commander to ensure better orientation of commercial drivers and vehicle owners in the state, so as to achieve safety and sanity on roads across the state.
The Commander assured the state government of the command’s readiness to ensure safety on the roads across the state. He equally promised the installation of machines to begin issuance of plate numbers.
