Human rights organisation, Amnesty International has now waded into the ongoing friction between Tomato paste production company, Erisco Foods and a social media user, Chioma Egodi who reviewed their product.
The group expressed its concern on X saying ” Since September 2023, Chioma Egodi has been subjected to series of harassment and intimidation over a review of tomato paste on social media.” it tweeted.
Although the case is in court, it has elicited public backlash against the tomato paste company citing harsh response.
