Friends and close associates of one Kingsley Abbey – a bouncer who was reportedly stabbed to death by a Naval officer in Bonny LGA of Rivers state, have called on Gov. Sim Fubara to intervene in the matter and ensure justice is served.
One of late Abbey’s friends in a statement during a peace walk to Government House, Port Harcourt, said arresting the officer is not enough.
According to him, the identity of the officer should be made known, and that his trial should begin immediately.
He also said the late bouncer left behind a wife and children that needs to be taken care of.
Recall that Diepreye Abbey, wife of the bouncer had alleged that her husband was stabbed to death by a Naval Officer after he tried to stop him from entering a night club with a dagger.
