The funeral rites for Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, close friends of British boxing star Anthony Joshua, have been scheduled to take place on Sunday at the London Central Mosque.
The duo died tragically in Nigeria, a development that has drawn widespread sympathy from the sporting community and the public. Arrangements for their burial were confirmed by family sources, who said the ceremony would be held in London to allow friends, associates and well-wishers pay their last respects.
Anthony Joshua is said to be deeply affected by the loss, as tributes continue to pour in for the deceased, described as warm, supportive and well-loved by those who knew them.
Further details of the funeral programme are expected to be made public ahead of the ceremony.
