MEDITATION SCRIPTURE: “But fornication and all impurity or covetousness, must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints.” Eph.5:3
READ: EPHESIANS 5:3
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Our God is holy, He is just and true. Following God therefore means, manifesting His nature, working in His principles and sharing in His communicable attributes. When you enter into the house of a man full of greed, it is not difficult to see the children manifesting greed and wickedness. Women who live loose lives, end up producing daughters who grow to become professional harlots. This is because, the lifestyle of who you follow, have a way of rubbing off on you. In the same vein, we cannot claim to be followers of God and live a life full of wickedness and immorality.
Looking at the church today, one wonders if the bible has changed. Some people who profess to know Christ, act like Satan, and talk like children of hell. May God help us. Any form of Christianity that condones these evil practices in the name of tolerance, is compromising with the truth. Following God sometimes means standing alone, and standing up for what you believe. The lifestyle of the church is different from the lifestyles of the world just as light is different from darkness and God is different from Satan.
Followers of God promote that which is good, then identify with that which is right even when the popular opinion is contrary.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, may my life reflect Yours goodness and righteous every day. Amen
