The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, (NIDCOM) has reacted to the arrest and continuous detention of Nigerian artists, Tems and Omah Lay in Uganda.
Chairman of the Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa in a series of tweets has disclosed that the Nigerian government is doing everything within its powers to ensure the release of the duo.
“The Nigerian mission in Uganda is doing everything to get them freed. #FreeOmahLay, #FreeTems,” Dabiri tweeted.
This is coming hours after Omah Lay had in a tweet accused the Ugandan Government of preventing the Nigerian government from intervening on the matter.
