The city of Port Harcourt was agog on Saturday, following the launch and rebranding of unarguably, Nigeria and Africa’s biggest entertainment support outfit, “FOUR.0.TWO” Entertainment.
402 entertainment is located at 3a Orominike Street, Dline in the oil rich city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The entertainment outfit is reputed for delivering quality entertainment set up solutions including stages, lighting, display screens, and other technical and engineering services. It is, therefore, the primary go-to outfit when it comes to providing entertainment services in the south-south region.
According to the Managing Director and CEO of 402 entertainment, Ndudi popularly known as ND, the organisation has been around for over 8 years. He said, they started out as a sound company and metamorphosed into other sectors of entertainment including sound engineering for events and shows, sound equipment procurement, sound equipment installation, consulting and hiring. Other services offered by 402 include stage renting, stage set-up and procurement, screen and lights for entertainment gigs, rallies and events of all kinds.
Ndudi described the world class entertainment centre as a “vision interpretation centre,” for whatever one intends to do as regards music, audio and entertainment in general. It is a one-stop shop when it comes to major events and audio recording, the CEO, asserted.
The rebranding and launch of the multi million naira entertainment outfit saw the creme de la’ creme of the entertainment industry in the South south region, grace the occasion in style even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Entertainment icons such as Sensational Bamidele, Thatlad, Music Coach Olumati Isaiah, Comedy heavyweight KO BABA, Churchill (Dan D’Humorous’ Manager) amongst other persons from different works of life, who attended the event could not hide their excitement as they were full of praises for the CEO for the mind blowing outfit.
The organizers, not ignorant of the directives of the state government on Social gathering and social distancing, due to the dreaded COVID-19, ensured guests complied with the directives of the government and all COVID-19 protocols. Guests were not allowed entry into the facility without their face masks on and sanitising their hands. Rather than gathering guests at the facility at once, they were allowed one at a time to tour the facility and leave, so as not to breach the social gathering and distancing rule.
The testimonies by guests who attended the event is a prove to the fact that ‘402’ is second to none. For instance, Gospel sensation Thatlad opined that the outfit “is one of its kind in the city of Port Harcourt, this is beautiful, commendable and mind blowing.”
Churchill, manager to Dan d’ Humorous said, “I thought it was a one room thing, but what I have seen here Today, is really mind blowing. “There is no company like this for now, it is the biggest event company in this city.”
Comedy Heavyweight KO BABA noted that “it is the most productive work in the city of Port Harcourt, with a world class rehearsal room.”
With a world class studio for recording and multi track recording for over 30 persons, state of the art recording equipment, electrifying stage, blistering speakers, mixers, 60 boxes of lines and rays, clear outdoor screen, stadium lights and a conducive environment, ‘402’ is unarguably Africa’s home for entertainment.
