Former Nigerian Vice President, Namadi Sambo, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sambo, who served under former President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015, joined the APC through its Kaduna State chapter.
His defection was confirmed on Wednesday by APC chieftain, Imran Muhammad, via a post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account.
