Oke Okere, former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi has been arrested by the Port Harcourt zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for financial crimes.
Spokesperson of the Port Harcourt zonal office, Wilson Uwujaren disclosed this in a chat with journalists yesterday in Port Harcourt.
He said Mr. Okere was arrested in his residence in Port Harcourt for financial crimes as he noted that he will be investigated and prosecuted for the allegation accordingly.
