Former Commissioner for Water and Rural Development in Rivers State, Doris Fisher has been reported dead.
A family member confirmed the news of her death in a statement on Thursday.
A trained medical doctor, Dr. Fisher served as a consultant physician at Military Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos until 1997. She then became Executive Chairman of the Rivers State Primary Education Board (1997-2004) and later Commissioner for Water and Urban Development (2008-2010).
