Former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has formally withdrawn his membership from the party.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the PDP in Okekoko Ward (09), Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Ologbondiyan expressed gratitude to the party’s leadership for the opportunities given to him to serve both the PDP and the country.
He stated that, after reviewing his involvement in the party, he had decided to exit for personal reasons.
“It is now imperative to bring your attention to the fact that I have reviewed my participation in the PDP and came to the conclusion that for personal reasons, I need to make my exit,” the letter read.
Ologbondiyan added that his withdrawal from the PDP takes immediate effect.
He concluded by thanking the party leadership and offering his best wishes.
