A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has sentenced Captain Ezekiel Bala Agaba, a former Executive Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA, to 7 years in prison.
The former MD was found guilty by the court of embezzling N1.5 Billion while in office.
Ezekiel Bala Agaba’s trial has been on for few years now as the EFCC fought tirelessly to ensure he was convicted for the crime. After testimonies by witnesses and other facts presented by the commission, he was found guilty by the court and sentenced to spend 7 years behind bars.
