Floods have sacked some communities in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Some of the communities affected by the floods are Ogbidi, Okwuzi, Odu and Omoku, among other areas.

Residents of the affected areas who have been rendered homeless are calling on relevant agencies to come to their aide.

The situation, we gathered has brought severe hardship and hunger as farmers count their losses due to the destruction of their crops.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Flood Management Committee has vowed not to abandon victims of the flood.
