A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has sentenced five persons to different jail term for dealing in petroleum products without approved license.

The presiding judge, Justice E. Obile delivered the judgement on Thursday, after the suspects were found guilty of the crime.

The judge in his ruling also ordered that the products be sold by the Department of Petroleum Resources and the money paid into the account of the Federal Government.

The convicted persons, Mohammed Sambo, Abdullahi Elams, Salisu Abubakar , Musa Mohammed  and Aliyu Mohammed, had pleaded guilty to the crime.
