Fire has destroyed makeshift houses popularly known as batcher at Oakview Estate, Mgbaraja, Woji Extension in Port Harcourt.
The incident which occurred on Saturday, destroyed properties worth millions.
Eyewitnesses say residents of the area were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings as firefighters arrived late despite calls put across to them.
