Properties worth millions of naira were yesterday destroyed by fire at Egbeda junction in Omoku local government area of Rivers State.
A resident of the area said the fire was caused by illegally petroleum products stored in a building.
He said it took the intervention of residents to put out the fire and that no life was lost in the incident.
He advised against storing of illegally refined products in residential buildings and warned those involved in illegal oil refining to desist from the act.
