The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has advised its members to seek alternative means of survival due to the failure of the Federal Government and the union to resolve the ongoing crises.
The Abuja Zonal Coordinator of ASUU, Prof. Theophilus Lagi who disclosed this in a statement yesterday said students and parents should not expect an end to the strike anytime soon.
“Today, we wish to let Nigerians, especially our students and parents know that there is no hope in sight to ending or suspending the ASUU strike that has lingered for several months as government is yet to show serious commitment towards addressing our core demands,” he said.
Prof. Lagi also accused the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige of showing enormous hatred for the union.
