The Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara says he will continue to pay salaries of workers despite efforts by enemies of the state to halt governance in the State.

The Governor, made this known during the state’s Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, shortly after a court ruling stopping the CBN from further releasing monthly allocation to the state.

According to him, Local Government Councils will continue to receive their monthly allocation. He urged residents not to be bothered by the court ruling.

Recall that a FHC sitting in Abuja Today, restrained the CBN from sending monthly allocation to the state, and criticized the presentation of the state budget by the governor to the Oko-Jumbo-led State Assembly.
