The Rivers State House of Assembly, has threatened to embark on a protest to the National Assembly over the exclusion of the state from states to benefit from the Federal Government World Bank loan.
Speaker of the House, Ikunyi Ibani, disclosed this while reading resolutions of the House, during plenary yesterday.
This wad after its Leader, Martin Amawhule had moved a motion to that effect.
The Assembly, condemned the exclusion and urged the National Assembly to ensure inclusion of Rivers state.
He said the House, would set up a committee to meet with the state National Assembly Caucus before approval of the loan is given.
The Assembly, also approved the request of the state Executive arm to borrow N25 billion to fund projects.
