The Federal Government has urged the organized labour to reconsider its decision to embark on an Indefinite strike action and return to the negotiation table.
Minister Of Information, HM Mohammed Idris in a statement, said a strike is not the solution to the problem.
According to him, talks are still underway and that he believes both parties will find a common ground.
“A strike is not the solution to our problem. We are continuing our negotiation with them. The minister and other stakeholders are still talking to them and we believe that we will find a common ground” he said.
Recall that the organized labour announced an Indefinite strike beginning from Monday, June 3 following the failure of government to meet it’s minimum wage demand.
