The Federal Government has announced plans to engage Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, as an ambassador for proper airport security conduct following his recent misconduct at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The development was disclosed on Wednesday by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, who outlined resolutions addressing recent incidents of unruly behaviour at Nigerian airports.
Keyamo stated that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) had agreed to reduce KWAM 1’s flight ban to one month and would collaborate with the singer to raise awareness on acceptable behaviour within the aviation sector.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) will spearhead the engagement with the musician.
