The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that the COVID-19 vaccination certificate will soon be a travel document, required to travel around the world.
Boss Mustapha, Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, disclosed this in a statement shortly after president Muhammadu Buhari and Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo were vaccinated against the virus.
“Today, Mr President and the Vice-President have equally demonstrated leadership by offering themselves for the Nigerian people to believe in the safety and the efficacy of the vaccines that we have procured and is being deployed,” he said.
He appealed to Nigerians to take the exercise seriously and make themselves available, so they can be vaccinated against the deadly virus which has killed millions of people across the globe.
