The Federal Government of Nigeria says it has received the sum of $9.4 million from the Japanese government for the provision of medical equipment.
The Hon. Minister of Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba who received the sum on behalf of the FG disclosed this on his social media handle today.
He said, ‘it is expected that this project will contribute to strengthening the medical system in the Federal Republic of Nigeria through the provision of equipment such as ambulances and CT scanners.”
“I thanked the Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to Nigeria, Amb. Yutaka Kikuta for their goodwill and commitment to improving health systems across the continent in these crucial times,” he added.
