The Nigeria at 60 Jubilee Special Award ceremony, slated for September 3, 2021 has been postponed by the Federal Government.
Adeniyi Adebayo, the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja, at the weekend.
He said a new date for the event will be made known in due course, as he regretted any inconveniences the development might have caused.
Adebayo noted that the Nigeria @60 Award ceremony was planned as part of jubilee celebrations of the nation’s Independence to honour 60 notable Nigerians that have in no small measure contributed to the growth of the nation.
The special award ceremony was put together by the Ownership Subcommittee of the Nigeria @60 Committee.
