The Federal Government has increased the cost of passport fees. The 23 page bookseller with 5 year validity which was Thirty-Five Thousand Naira is now worth Fifty-Thousand Naira, N50,000. While the 64 page booklet which was Seventy-Thousand Naira will now cost a Hundred-Thousand Naira only.
In a press release shared on Wednesday night, the Commission said it was for the purpose of Quality and Integrity. What this mean was never explained on the press release.
