The Federal Government has completed or made substantial progress on over 420 federal roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, the Senate Committee on Works has revealed.

Chairman of the committee, Senator Barinada Mpigi, made this known in a goodwill message delivered by his representative, Ashley Emenike, during the opening of the 33rd Engineering Assembly organised by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) on Tuesday in Abuja.

Themed “Advancing Quality Engineering Services and Businesses in Nigeria: Professionalism, Compliance and Remunerations”, the event brought together engineering professionals nationwide to discuss infrastructure standards, ethics, and the sector’s role in national development.

Mpigi commended Nigerian engineers for their pivotal role in driving the country’s economic and infrastructural growth, describing them as strategic nation builders who deserve greater involvement in policymaking.
