President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the Federal Government cannot afford to disappoint Nigerians that have entrusted security in their hands.
This is as he called on security agencies to respond to attacks in time.
The President, disclosed this through his aide, Garba Shehu, on Thursday, while condemning the attack in Adamawa by suspected Boko Haram terrorists on Wednesday.
Unknown Gunmen had attacked a farming community, Dabna in Adamawa State, killing 24 persons before the intervention of security Operatives.
“This level of savagery, inhumanity and reckless disregard for the sanctity of life cannot go unpunished.
“We can’t afford to disappoint Nigerians that have entrusted their security in our hands,” he said.
