The Federal Government says federal universities in the country remain tuition-free.
Presidential spokesperson, Dele Alake disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, some universities only recently announced “discretionary charges” for hostel accommodation, registration, laboratory, amongst others.
“They are not tuition fees. For avoidance of doubts, federal universities in Nigeria remain tuition-free,” he said.
