The Federal Government has announced the donation of ₦2 billion and the delivery of 20 truckloads of grains to Niger State, as part of emergency relief efforts following recent floods in Mokwa.
The intervention is aimed at alleviating the suffering of displaced residents and supporting recovery initiatives led by the state government.
Vice President , Kashim Shettima disclosed this when he visited Mokwa, Niger State to commiserate with the victims.
Authorities say the funds and food supplies will help mitigate the impact of the disaster on affected communities.
