Fear gripped residents of Urualla axis of Diobu, Port Harcourt on Friday night while suspected cultists shot sporadically in the air for hours.
Residents of the area in a chat with us said bullets rented the air from 8:00pm to 5:00am.
One of them said the invasion by the cultists may not be unconnected to supremacy battle between suspected Deygbam and Icelanders cult groups in the area.
He said the incident caused panic in the area as residents sustained injuries while scampering for safety, adding that no life was lost
The State Police Command was yet to react to the incident.
