The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced the upload of results from the Federal Capital Territory Area Council chairmanship elections to its Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
A total of 68 elective offices were contested in Saturday’s polls, comprising six chairmanship seats and 62 councillorship positions across the councils.
As of 7:35 pm, checks showed that 847 results had been uploaded from the 1,401 polling units in the Abuja Municipal Area Council. In other councils, 75 out of 201 results had been uploaded in Kwali, 115 of 262 in Kuje, and 204 of 338 in Gwagwalada.
